Technical Support Services

Database Analyst
- Design, develop, manage, and maintain databases to ensure that the databases remain stable, reliable, and recoverable
- Troubleshoot errors, manage resource allocation, and regularly test backups
- Familiar with DISA STIG work, coordinate with NITC Linux administrators to develop code to identify which user performed which operation
Systems Administrators
- Respond to user trouble tickets to resolve connectivity and usage issues
- Perform regular security/ vulnerability patching for existing operating systems and applications that are above the operating systems, for example, Oracle servers
- In compliance with desktop security standards (common STIG, CIS, and third-party security baselines), perform penetration testing and auditing, to include internet and firewall reviews, web applications, system hardening, and IP services
- Continually monitor and tweak systems for optimal performance
Help Desk/Techs
- Respond to trouble tickets by providing Tier I, II and III desktop and laptop technical support which includes: workstation maintenance, image creation, equipment installation/troubleshooting/repair, software installation, hard drive and power supply replacement, OS upgrades, security patches/remediation, Active Directory updates, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) services
- Helpdesk operations are well-defined, with structured roles/ responsibilities and communication processes
